Hey guys, looking for photos and details of your camper shell mounted safari or roof racks. Yakima, Thule, Rage etc.

I have the rails on my shell, but can't decide what rack I want and how it will look. The last one I had was on a Suburban and was a Conferr, but I don't think they make them anymore.

Conferr is out of business, so you are correct. Can always try and track down a used one but anything conferr on my LC forum sells quick and expensive.

Yeah, I saw that... I shouldn't have sold it, but that was 10+ years ago. It was great rack. Used to sleep in it in W. Texas to stay out of the snakes.

 

It's not the best picture but here's my Snugtop with a Yakima rack/rail system. I've had this same system on my last two trucks and works great. Anything from storage baskets to bikes racks can be added to it. (sorry about the size of the picture)
