Backup Clunk

forum,

recently with the cold weather i've noticed a very pronounced clunk when backing up when the truck is cold. for example, go out in the morning and start backing out of the garage...as soon as i hit the brakes...CLUNK! usually only does it that first time, but is sorta disconcerting. i'm guessing it is the brakes, but am not sure. anybody else notice similar with their trucks now that is has gotten cold in some parts of the country? oddly enough, i don't remember it doing this last spring when i first bought the truck and it was cold outside... :-(

I've noticed it too. Mine did it (less noticeably) earlier this year, but now it's kinda loud. I need to crawl under there and see what's going on.
