Steering Noise ( metal to metal ) HELP
Thanks for reading. I have had my 2010 Platinum for a little over a year now. Since I bought it I have had a metal to metal clicking in the steering system. I can feel it coming up thru the steering wheel from the main steering shaft.
I is really apparent at medium speeds when ever I go over a series of small or large asphalt ripples in the road. It's like I feel it most between right and left, that tiny little space in the middle. It's been to the dealer 3 times now. This last time they gave it back and said that the Ford HOTLINE guys said it meets all tolerances and nothing else they can do for me. One service guy said call Ford CS which I did. Anyone out there run into something like this yet????????????????? Thanks, Jimmy D
