New guy with new F150
I just wanted to stop in here with my first post on this forum and say hello. Yesterday, I purchased a 2011 F150 Supercrew 5.0 XLT 4x4 Offroad. I traded a 2009 Dodge 2500 Laramie Cummins 4x4 that I bought used in August. Before that, I had a 2006 Tundra Access cab 4x4 Offroad I bought new.
I knew I needed a bigger truck than the Tundra for my growing family and had been looking at the F150s for over a year. For whatever reason I got it in my head that I wanted a diesel, so I bought the Dodge. Mistake on my part because that is way more truck than I need and was very uncomfortable around town.
I should have bought the F150 in the first place, but....now that I have the F150, I will make a few mods, probably a leveling kit to begin with (spacers or struts, still have to research) and maybe a double DIN head unit with the Scoche bezel. Hope to get much good advice from the folks here at the forum.

welcome and congrats! I too traded from a diesel (08 f250) that got a best of 14.5mpg lol. I wasn't even considering an f150 until they came out with the new engines this year and I couldn't be happier. I hope the experience is the same for you

Best pics I could get with my iPhone on an overcast rainy day....
Nothing special YET....dealer has a lot full just like it, but this one is mine. It is actually a Texas edition. Apparently, my dealer in Arkansas swapped some Ecoboost trucks for 5.0 trucks with a dealer in Texas. Got a good deal on it with the X Plan and rebates...
