Just a quick question fellas. Is it possible to order an FX4 package on a F-150 with a lower axle ratio other than 3.73 ? Don't really do any towing, and was wondering if you could go to a 3.55 ? Thanks in advance...

 

No. 3.73's are the lowest for the fx4 unfortunately. I think the idea is to keep the truck sporty feeling with higher gear ratios.

 

Dtm030 is correct. 3.73 is the only option on the FX4.

 

The only other ratio is 4.10 with 20 inch wheels.

 

The previous model came with either 3.73 or 3.55, I know mine came with 3.55 and I bought it new.
