Information I would like to see posted

It's obviously the time of the model year that people are ordering 2012's and buying new 2011 F150's off of the dealer lots. For those that think they are getting decent deals on their truck it seems it would be nice for the rest of us to see where the best deals are. Why not post the model truck and options your getting on your truck and the name and location of the dealer. This may help others that may be close enough to these dealers to travel a reasonable distance for a better deal.

How about it?

Look up Mac Haik Ford Lincoln Dealership in Georgetown Tx. They beat everyone else's price by 3k to 4k. I drove 2 hours to buy my truck but it was worth it to save that much money. Just to give you an idea of their prices. I just bought a 2011 King Ranch Ecoboost 4x4 that stickered at $47,800 and I paid $36,200. They sell all their King Ranches and Platiniums that are priced 45k to 55k for under 39k.

I've only owned my truck 3 weeks and I've already met several people that have paid more for their truck than I did and theirs wasn't even a KingRanch or wasn't 4x4. My boss just bought a xlt 4x4 ecoboost with chrome package and he paid more for his truck than I did mine. Of course I didn't have the heart to tell him that.

I've bought both of my last 2 F-150s from Mac Haik in Victoria, Tx. I got $10,000 off my 2008 XL reg cab w/ no options, and $11,000 off my 2010 XLT Screw with the basic package... Both trucks are volume trucks, meaning they have dozens of the same exact truck in every single color so they sell them dirt cheap. I would never buy from anywhere but Mac Haik.

This kind of information is great. I would drive a fairly good distance to get a good deal. The dealer I've been buying from for some time can't get anywhere close to that kind of a deal.

I'm in the DC metro area, and I picked up my Lariat 4x4 EB Scab + 6.5' bed, with nav, moonroof, heated/cooled seats, box steps, tailgate step, trailer brake controller, Lariat Plus package (remote start, etc.), backup sensors + camera, sticker: $45,205. Paid $39,000 (gave up $3k rebate to get 0% financing).

I'm happy with my deal - had to go to VA from MD to get the truck I wanted at the price I wanted to pay.

Dealer was Ted Britt Ford in Fairfax, VA - Winnie was my salesperson. No hassles, just honest people. They were #3 in the country for sales volume in September.

Other dealers closer to home were $2,000-3,000 higher.

Bought my well loaded XLT at the end of July. The sticker was about $37,400 as I recall and I got $8850 off. I know the check was $30,500 out the door with no trade.

This is at Bankston, South Fort Worth. If you contact them, Chris, the internet guy is great to deal with. I did the deal over the phone and by email, subject to a test drive when I could get there.

Man I wish I was still in VA. I bought both of my Lightnings from Ted Britt Ford and they always treated me right (and have great service techs too).

Yeah, it was funny - I had Apple Ford and Koons Ford in the running to sell me a truck, but Apple couldn't find one optioned the way I wanted, and Koons didn't want to honor CarMax's written offer, so their truck was way more expensive.

On a lark, I went on Ted Britt's web site, found the exact truck I wanted (except color - I like black pickups, but wanted sterling silver or blue pearl), and they made the deal I wanted ... so I went and got it from them.
