Firestone Ride Rite

Installed my Firestone Ride Rite Air bags yesterday on my F150. Install was a breeze.

I know prior to install I was concerned that when aired down to the minimum level the back would be higher then stock. It sits just like it did before.

I won't be doing any heavy towing for a while, but will report back then.

Put my Honda Foreman in the bed (before it would drop the back significantly) and now I can get the truck back to the proper stance with out drastically impacting the ride quality.

I installed a set on my 06 150, and I loved them. One day I had to haul drums of water, and the total weight was just over 1500 pounds. I aired the bags up to about 90 PSI, and the truck sat flat level..... and that is with a 6" lift installed, so it is even easier to sag the rear compared to the front.

You will love them !!!

Helper bags are the shiz! I run SLAM specialties RE-5 bags with Viar tank, Viar compressor, and a switch and gauge in the cab for control and monitoring. I race MX so I carry a load several times a week. With my drop the helper bags get me back to sitting level and keep me from bottoming out on the bumpstops when I'm loaded down. They also make the ride amazing when they have air in them. I am thinking of going 2" lower in the rear so I have to run air in them all the time to sit level just for ride comfort.

I got them at my local 4 wheel parts. They are the retail of $270 ish + I opted for the 3 year warranty. I like buying things by my house even though you pay a few extra dollars, warranty is way easier to deal with.

THe wireless would be nice no doubt, but I just wasn't ready to spend the extra $$ yet.
