TPMS tell-tale
#16
It appears that the tell-tale warning only comes on after driving on the freeway for 20+ minutes.
I set up another appointment with the service dept. for this Thursday. Don't know how they are going to pin point the faulty sensor and I don't think they want to remove all 4 tires, replace all 4 sensors and rebalance all 4 tires if only 1 may be the issue.

Update
My 2nd attempt to have the dealer fix this issue was unsuccessful.
They took it out for a test drive to see if the tell-tale would come on but it didn't. I told them it comes on at no less than 30km but of course they wouldn't listen. They were much more concerned that they were not going to be compensated by Ford for the 1 hour the technician spent on the vehicle.
Tech guy came out, manager came out, it was a bit of a scene. Their suggestion was to bring it in to the closest Ford dealer next time it comes on so they can scan for codes because the codes get cleared after a certain number of restarts???

Is it saying "pressure sensor fault" or "low pressure". I keep getting the fault reading, had it scanned and they couldnt find anything. Keeps happening in the same area to, I am starting to wonder if there is a signal that is interferring. Possiblely another vehicles sensors.
I might try wrapping my truck in tin foil to keep the radio waves out. After all my tin foil hat seems to working just fine. lol

Update.
I think I just figured out what causes this error message to come on, actually I'm sure I know what causes this problem.
I installed an aftermarket nav/multimedia system just before this error mess. started happening. Then had to remove the new system to return it for warranty repair so in the meantime I reinstalled my OEM head unit. The OEM unit has been in use for the past 3 months and no error message every appeared on the instrument panel. Once I recieved the aftermarket system from warranty (back from warranty, with more issues than it left with) and reinstalled it the tell-tale error mess. started up again.
So there I have it, the answer to what the triggers this tell-tale mess but with no hope in solving this issue.

Surprised no one mentioned replacing the air with nitrogen for temperature fluctuations.
But sounds like the TPMS works properly most of the time, eh?
Off subject but I returned my Sony tuner and amp (home system) for repair back in 1981 and it's still in use today, powering the big sound for my TV.

I had the faulty sensor warning come on once on my 2010....I have an escort live cord, and use my iPhone connected by Bluetooth to monitor the radar detector. I sat the iPhone on the ledge in front of my speedometer ....I think either the Bluetooth or navigation function of the iphone may have interfered with the gauge cluster somehow....not sure but it hasn't happened since I moved it further from the dash. Also during that same time I noticed my key fob would not lock/ unlock the truck unless I was real, close. That works better after I moved it also. Could it be all these wireless/3G/ Bluetooth/ gps signals are interfering with stuff.

Just put new rims and tires on my 09 and haven't had the TPMS swapped over yet... it took almost 15 minutes maybe 20minutes to get the fault... I believe this system only checks on the pressure every 15-20 minutes it's designed to let you know if a tire is low not instant flat... if you have a blow out from what i've seen it won't show that till it's next check in with the monitors...
