As my father use to tell me....there's plenty more tires at the store when you burn those up!

I'm with AZmidget, MasterOfFaster, AK, KG and BigBlue... What's the big deal? I would do the same thing. Maybe not in my driveway, but I would definitely do some burnouts in a new truck. When I bought a 04 Sierra in 04 I hit the governor no less than 6 times and did 3 brake stands on my drive home from the dealership. The truck had 7 miles on the ODO when I left the dealer parking lot..... and that was in a GMC.

I think those that don't have fun in/with their truck are the idiots... not the feller in the video.

I've never heard of so many guys so afraid of their wives, lol, and when I spend $45k on a truck it sure as hell better be able to handle a little burnout every now and then.

These are Ford trucks, don't be scared, its only rubber.
If he would've turned the truck around and did the burnout in the driveway then it would be alright.......but he chose to do it going out of the driveway into a public street>>>>that's why I said it was dumb.....

Well at least he didn't do it with a set of $2000 tires on.

Now THAT would be dumb.

slightly entertaining but I could have done that with my 2000 S10 with a 4.3/auto, same cab/box setup and a rear end that would lock up better than anything I've had since.

Burnouts are ok except on your tires and brakes, but I still choose not to abuse my truck.

Yeah he's the kind of guy that will do stuff like that and then cry when the dealer refuses to do warranty work on it.

Pause the video clip at 0:14 - after that jump and "soft" landing, does that right front wheel look like it now has just an excessive bit of negative camber?

Ehhh, its a burnout. Can't tell from the video who owns the truck, who owns the driveway, how many miles are on the truck, etc...

Here's my version of the story:

Some owner drops his truck off at the dealer. It is babied every day of it's life, and the dealer knows it. After the guy leaves, he hops in with his buddies, and heads to the ex-wife's house. Backs in, leaves some rubber on the pavement, then proceeds to do neutral slams and whip donuts at every intersection between there and the dealership. Even picks his nose and wipes it on the front edge of the seat for good measure.

THAT is what is happening in the video...
