You wont be sorry. If you get the Ecoboost the test drive didnt do it for me. I really appreciated the motor after a week of driving it. Now after a few months I still love stepping into the truck and going for a ride. Like I said earlier you wont be sorry with any motor. Good luck.

After quite a bit of thought I decided to keep my old '01 SCREW. Being retired I just couldn't bring myself to spend ~$25K to replace a perfectly good truck. Instead I'm spending a little money to do the 100K mile service. Truck still looks and runs great, and no payments.. 10 years, 100,000 miles, hoping to get a few more years and miles out of it.

You are so intelligent! 100,000 miles ford truck is very low miles. Use the money to save and rewards yourself with life experiences activities like camping, fishing, traveling, biking, that my friend is money better spend.

I sold my 2004 after 200,000 miles adn I bought my 2010 in March 2011 with a great incentive and price. the 2010 cost me exactly te same tan 2004 if I compare the total cost including interest each truck. I'm extremily happy with mu purchase I don't care of the new motors I prefer a best value if I opted for 2011 I had to pay about US$250 more monthly and more down payment.

Maybe you may upgrade for a 2014 when the redesigned 2015 is launched.

Good move. If you're happy with the truck and only have 100,000 miles, I'd keep it for sure. BTW, for a 10 year old truck, 100,000 is very VERY low mileage.

Also that $28995 for an XLT with 20k miles is a complete rip off. The truck in my signature was hundreds less than that BRAND NEW off the dealer lot in January of 2011. The only things I added in my signature were the OEM tow mirrors, OEM trailer brake controller, OEM mud flaps, Extang Tonneau cover and Bedrug bedliner.

The only reason I got rid of my 2008 Sport Trac 4.6l 3V 4WD truck was that it was getting high miles and I would have payments for a year without a warranty. With the cost of payments on these trucks, I would not want to worry about an expensive repair on top of the payments. Plus I found I could get this F150 for nearly the same cost and keep my payments the same because the Sport Trac's trade in value was so good.

Anyhow with no payments, I'd keep it until it fell apart and was to costly to keep (as long as it was still decent looking and comfortable to drive).
