That's for sure. That one is so big, we just gave it a name, and a bed to sleep in.

is there any kind of spray (detterant) available? I'm curious if there is a product out there that isn't annoying to humans, but keeps the animals away. Just get a B&G sprayer and coat the engine and undercarriage every few weeks.

I don't have this problem because I'm in Los Angeles, but not sure if anything like this works?

I wasn't very persistant. It wasn't out there 24/7. I moved it around to different locations where I saw the chipmunks go. A couple times I didn't empty it quickly enough, which means that it's not going to catch any more untill it's cleaned and reset.

I probably got about 20 over a four month period. After that I'd catch a mouse or mole every so often. If someone were better at keeping up with the thing, they would get more. In addition, I believe that over time the rodents know that for some reason their numbers are dwildeling, but they don't know why. In my yard there are still chipmunks, but they are away from the house and the cars.

I don't know that the Rat Zapper is the best option. It is one though.

The old mercedes had a problem with mice eating the wiring. They used some kind of vegetable coating on the wires. If that isn't it, it's made from some kind of food.

I've never had Squirrel issues but I did have a problem with a cat bedding down in the valley between the intake manifold and valve cover of my old F350 460cid. The thing was actually pulling the spark plug wires off the plugs. I'd start the truck up in the morning and it would be running on 6 or 7 cylinders. I'd pop the hood and see the wires just hanging there. Couldn't for the life of me figure how spark plug wires would come off by themselves, until I saw cat hair on the top of the engine. I bought some moth ***** and made a little tray with aluminum foil, put it on the top of the engine and that took care of the problem. Of course I had to open the hood every day to take the moth ***** out, but I only had to do this for a week and the cat never came back.
