09 f150 stx 4x4 4.6l 2v v8, want a 6" bds with 37s and 20s.. would i be ok running stock gears for a month or two? id be taking it extremely easy on the truck until i got it regeared but would i be ok? ive got 35s now but want some 37s and 20" rims.. after regearing would i be back to stock speed even on highway? i go up to NC alot so any advice i would be grateful...
can i run 37s with 20s without regearing for a couple months if i take it easy?
and if i regear will i be back to stock even with the small V8 ive got in my truck?
( wont be driving truck anywhere but around town until new gears are in)

I'm sure you'll be ok for a few months, it won't self destruct as soon as you start moving but I wouldn't want to wait any longer than that. What gears are you going to? If you have 3:55's now and get 3:73's it won't make any difference. If you're getting 4:56's it should be very close to stock, maybe a little better off the line.
Driving around town will be the hardest on it.

ive got stock 3:73s right now.. so i should be good? and after regearing even with the 37 inch tires ill be able to drive interstate speeds? im gonna talk to my shop and see what they recommend but ill be going either 4:56 or 4:88s
They won't make it any faster either. You'll have more low end power and lose you're top end.
