They're finally catching on... It's gonna look great. Like the red badges.

I am really liking some of those four-wheel-drive system upgrades as I drive in a lot of mixed pavement and snow situations. Looks like it is an option on Fx4. Larger tank on the Eco-Boost too. May have to upgrade the 2006 lariat sooner than I had planned, but will try to hold out a few more years.

I still do not understand why people think they have to have a 36 gallon tank to pull a trailer. How big are your bladders?

I just got back from a 2700+ mile trip. We were in a 6.0L SD with a 26 gallon tank pulling 24 foot camper through the Rockies. We never got more than 13MPG or so and 8-9 when things were really steep. There was never a time when having a few more gallons of gas was needed and we were in some very desolate places. The closest town to where were camped was over 30 miles and they had a diesel pump. Even heavily loaded getting lousy mileage each tank would last close to 5 hours. This worked out about right for stopping and switching drivers.

It will take right at 11 hours to run through a 760 mile range at 70MPH. How long do you want to be in a truck non-stop?

^ It's not a "have to have" it's a want; just like a thousand other things on a truck.

Its not so much about whether or not you want to stop, its about not having to. Plus, I know I love the fact that I can sometimes go over a month without filling up.

I am probably in the minority here but I am not liking it that much visually.....interior is too dark and don't like the red badges (although the red piping is cool). Will have to wait until I get to see it in person.

Definitely want to see it in something other than black too.

I pull a 32' bumper to ball RV with a 19' long truck. I get about 150-180 miles per tank, which is less than 3hours. Finding a gas station with easy access when you do need it in the middle of nowhere is such a hassle. I always fill up before leaving home or the campsite. And a 3hour range with little kids that have to pee every 30min then nap, then I have to stop to fill up and they are awake.

Gimmie 300+ towing miles which would be all of my camping trips thus far.

Looks good would have loved to have the cooled seats, blacked out 20s and the red piping around the seats. But all in all very happy with my truck.
