Standard with 4x4 Supercrew 5.0L. Any reason why you would not want it?

I wasn't happy that 36 gallon is standard. Cost more to fill up if you run the tank down. But now i just make sure that I fill up around 1/4 and no less to keep cost down. Although the first tank i used was from the dealer and it lasted over a week.

I never understood the logic of people stating it costs more to fill up....... Yes bigger tank more gas, smaller tank less gas more fillups, its all a wash in the end......

+1...logic sometimes is an illusive thing for some folks.

Dont understand why you would prefer the smaller tank...but pretend 1/4 tank is empty, case solved.

The size of the tank does not change how quickly you use it. So, you just get to drive about 45% further between fillups if you choose to do so.

It's all in your head.

Agree, the large tank is great. Although I don't get the greatest mileage, I recently went from Northern California (Sonoma) to San Diego on one tank. That's almost 600 miles. Most people driving from Northern California to Southern California have to stop and refuel at the "Grapevine" and pay at least 25 cents more per gallon.

You're a fool if you wait till the Grapevine for fuel - be smart and stop at Lost Hills or Buttonwillow.

True but there's no In & Out Burger in Lost Hills! Just Denny's. I always try to get as far south as I can without having to stop. (It's such a scenic drive!)

Did you forget the sarcasm smilie? Even 99 is less boring than I-5. I think the next time I go from LA to SF I'll take 101.

Next time you make that trip to SD, you can avoid the LA traffic by taking 99 to 58 to 395 to I-15. Gas in Bakersfield is reasonable and they have 2 In & Outs.
