Tow hooks on a 2WD?

How would one go about putting tow hooks on the front end of a 2011 2WD?

Do the 4x4 hooks mount up to the frame? Is there an added crossmember or is it bolt it on and trim the bumper?

If its anything like the older generations, my 05 had the holes and they just bolted right up. I then just hacked at the valence with a buck knife.

Cool...I'd hope I can use a dremel though!

Can anyone with a 4x4 snap some pictures of their hooks mounted to the frame??

Hooks bolt to the end of the frame...

You need to either cut your stock valance or get the valance used on the 4X4 for the hooks to fit. Either way it is a pretty straightforward install job. I went with chrome hooks on my '09 Plat, like the look.

I've got a set of chrome tow hooks to put on my 2wd. I've just got to get round to doing it.

Yep, There are holes in the frame for them.. I replaced my FX2 valance with a 4x4 valance with the tow hook holes. Was very easy.
