I am looking to paint my calipers and want to put mt 2010 screw up on stands. Where exactly should I place the stands under the truck? I am doing 1 axle at a time...

 

Owners manual should show where to place jacks or jack stands. Assuming same as my 09, front is the frame just behind the tires, rear is on the axle near the spring mounts.

Alot will depend on the size of Jack stands you are using. If using small ones designed for a small car, you might be better suited to place them on a safe spot on the lower control arm on the front. The more you extend an axle stand, the less safe they become. Trying to fit them on the frame rail could be a challenge to do safely.

 

Why not paint one caliper and put the wheel back on?

I painted mine on my 2010, and after 48k, they look great. I only used an equipment enamel instead of the high- priced caliper paint, and no one knows the difference. Paint one, put wheel back on, repeat for others.
