Mine has a delay going into reverse. I took it in they had it for a week while they took down the transmission and it still does it. Just not so bad. It only does it on initial start up when the trans is cold

Just normal driving on a 100 degree day, no gauge or programmer to get an actual temp.

I don't have my '11 yet, but I swear I saw a tranny temp gauge on the LCD screen.

Your truck has a trans temp readout on the "Gauge Mode" on your productivity screen.

Had a 2010 with shuddering issues and a leaky 3rd brake light they could not fix from day 1 so said screw it and upgraded to a 2011.Now with less then 20k am experiencing more trans issues in 6th gear the trans feels like it is slipping when cold, tack fluctuates between 1000 and 1500.Seems to go away after the first cycle through the gears and of course the dealership says they can't duplicate the issue..yet it happens to me every day.I would love to have something positive to post on this forum but the past two F150's I owned were junk.

mine will delay sometimes when its cold and has sat. dealer said thats normal along with shuddering and bumping when you stop. They did install friction modifiers. Dealers have said a lot of people have had complaints on this tranny, Ford claims this is just the way it operates. Honestly great truck but the transmission sucks.

I bought my 2011 new in Feb, 2012. After about 5000 miles it started shifting strange. When I start up sometimes it will shift into second very hard. I carried it to the dealer and was told it was a common thing for the 6 speed transmission. Another time I shifted from Park to Reverse and it jumped back when I took my foot off brake! Again carried it in and was told it was the curse of the 6 speed tranny. Anyone else having this problem ?

My 11 feels like it has more stall than my 2010. Maybe it is the converter or the programming. It just feels slippy down low.
