Swap out woodgrain in '11 lariat with '10 dark wood??

Has anyone swapped out the ugly blonde wood grain in the 2011 lariats with the dark wood grain from 10? Im ordering a truck monday and that blonde wood just kills the new interiors compared to my 05 lariat. What would it cost?

And also ford wands 695 bucks for the 6" nerf bars...cant you get nice aftermarket ones much less?

Page 113 item # 33. Lists all the different trim levels, and the price listing at the time of publication. These are only for 09/10 though. '11 is not listed in the list anywhere. I think it should be safe to assume that all the buttons are in the same location, and the bezels are interchangeable from '10 to '11

It is the door panels that are always going to be a problem, they are not seperate pieces.

I went to Ford.com and located up the part number for the nerf bars. I then used a little Google-fu and found a couple dealerships that were selling them for about I think $380 or so. It was a little more than what I paid for some cheaper after market bars. I did all of this after I had already installed the aftermarket ones and couldn't return them. I could have paid a guy to put the stock ones in for $50 and had the stock 5" running boards.

edited to add: the MSRP on them now is 357 for black and 535 for chrome.

I ran across this on ebay.... http://www.ebay.ca/itm/FORD-F-150-20...item3f078886d4

No idea of its quality, or fit and finish, but worth looking into.

You can always get Hydro Graphics done on the door panels to match whatever finish you go to on the center console, if you go the OE route-- I think Pheonix imaging is still around. The door pieces( the part with the woodgrain finish) can be popped off and glued back in, that is basically how there are in there now.If I were to do it I would take all pieces off, and have them professionally painted a silver like the Lariat Limited.

You can buy wood kits in whatever color you want. You can cover the same as what's on there or buy a larger package to do more wood. Here's one link to check them out. Of course you can always order the factory kits as well.

I don't believe you can still order a 2011 or can you? I would wait a couple days to see what the 2012 has to offer. The Lariat is rumored to return to a darker woodgrain. There will also be new 4-way pivoting headrests and a host of other things.
