The guy effed up, that's all. I don't see a point in all the ridicule. Nobody is perfect. It does suck and I feel for him. I hope it all turns out good for him.

Crocs... No wonder he slipped and fell. He should have his man card pulled just for wearing them. That's worse than putting his truck in the drink.

Insurance always covers "stupid"

we had a customer hydrolock his motor because he was driving really fast through really deep puddles, and the intake pulls air from the RH fender well. Long story short, insurance ended up totaling the RR out and writing him a check for the value of the vehicle.
