EcoBoost video 0-60 5.6 seconds!?!

Just came across this video on the youtubes, guy claiming 0-60 in 5.6 seconds with a CC / 3.73 gears, at first I figured it was fake somehow, and I clock it at more about 5.8 seconds, but still!

That's damn fast, I'm glad I got a supercab ecoboost FX4 with 3.73, can't wait to see how it runs.

...and then when he was finished with the run, he turned the truck around and went back up the hill.

That is nice. Still trying to justify a trade from a 2009 5.4L to an Ecoboost. Not sure if the cost difference will every justify it, although I'd love to get my hands on a truck with more torque and acceleration, since that's my cup of tea.

I wish my 5.0L would do that. It always seems to brake the tires loose when I stand on the gas pedal. It must be the drive-by-wire delay in the EB.

I can vouch that the video is accurate; I did this sort of thing while I was breaking mine in (watching the video brought back the same memories). Didn't time it, and my rear is a 3.15, but yes, it's damn cool to get this kind of kickass out of a pickup truck. And, one that gets 24.8 mpg over a 3-hour drive with an hour each at 65, 70, and 75 mph.

I can't say enough about how much I love this powertrain.

Cool

When you put it in Tow/Haul mode, it completely changes the transmission shift points and how it holds gears. Sometimes when I play I'll put it in T/H for fun Not sure if that's too wise though.
