Ext Warranty from Ford

Did anyone here buy the ext warranty? I am considering the Powertrain warranty 7 year 150,000km for $2,000(CDN). I ordered an Ecoboost engine in my new truck and apparently the turbos are covered under that warranty.

I have a few weeks to think about it as my truck is on order.

ARTIC CAT F7- You might consider Ford's Premium Care Extended Warranty. It covers so much more on the truck and the price isnt too much more considering what more you get. The last time I checked that was Ford's best warranty. So you might consider it. I believe it covers the PCM and alot of electrical parts also. It all comes down to how long you keep a truck. Also, the last time I purchased that warranty, I traded and still had a remainder of it left, so they figured it up and gave me some money back based on the remainder of timeI had left on it.

I did one for 84 months and 100K miles, I figure that it would be worth it, epecially since I plan to keep the truck 10 years or so. I also would only do a Ford Premium Care and I think I paid like 1500.00 for it from the dealer.

Some would say it was a waste of money but my last truck it paid off on my Roush it was modified so it wouldn't matter.

I bought the premium 5yr/100,000 warranty for my 2011 psd from theme for around $700 less than the closest place locally. You might shoot them an email and see what kind of price you can get, it usually takes a day to hear back from them.

the powerstroke comes with a 5 year 100k mile warranty

or does it cover all minor items that are only covered under the 36 or 60k mile warranty?

It covers everything, the 5 year 100 is just motor and emissions. This covers sync and navigation as well as the rest of the normal bumper to bumper stuff.
