2010 fx4 tow to standard mirror swap?

2010 fx4 tow to standard mirror swap?
Has anyone swapped their mirrors on a 2010 fx4? My standard mirror has heated, power, and im lookin to swap over to the tow mirrors. Will the painted cover from my standard mirror fit on the tow mirror and will the power harness plug match?

The caps will not fit. The tow mirrors are huge! But the harness will fit. I just did the swap about 2 months ago and they plugged right in. All functions worked perfectly.
