have you considered having your side and back emblems painted black where they are chrome now or doing a dark grey? keep tossing around that idea since there isn't any other chrome on our trucks
just saw you have the same truck, did you do it on yours. if so, do you have pics

thanks

Yeah I think it looks great. And I really like the look of those tires. Do you think you could fit a 34 or 35 with those wheels? I have yet to purchase anything so just looking at all the options. But really like the look of your truck.

russ - 34"s IMO would be perfect. 35"s, prob have to trim alittle.

Can you post pics of your truck, and how you painted it

Im happy with the trucks look, but im more than happy with the 33"s. I think its a good medium between stock and 35 or bigger. 33"s wont do any harm to the suspension or tranny like the bigger sizes will, plus the 3.73 pulls it with ease still.

thanks for the compliment,

haven't done it, when ever i go to 34's and level it i'll end up doing it. all my money is going into another project right now so truck is staying stock for a while. i will probably have them PTM the stock wheel color on the badges though instead of black.

MBRP has quite a following in the Diesel truck market. It should last you many years and the truck looks good.

i love the way it sounds
now to my **** side... in the side view and the rear view it looks as if the tips are pointing a little down instead of level at the rear. is it just the angle of the camera?

BLUEforLIFE,
I'm thinking you have the baffled if it's quiet at an idle. Mine grumbles nice... Oh, wait, the twin sisters talk to each other nicely. . I have some drone at 1500-1800rpm, and pulling hills with my trailer, but still love the daily drives. I've run about six diesel and three gas kits from MBRP on different trucks I've owned, and this is the first kit I've had an issue with.

I agree with the **** comment, Its bothering me to. Im gonna see if they can bend just the last 2' of pipe up 1/2". At the very least, if i have to live with it, at least the condesation and/or water will drip out, and should prolong any rotting of the pipe.

thanks

Smoky - mine def dosen't rumble at idle. Im getting used to the interior cab sound now. at 70 i can feel some vibration, but with the radio on, Im quickly acclimating to the sound. around town it sounds real nice at low speeds and really quiet downs when easing off the pedal.

what issue are you having....the drone?
since you had MBRP exhaust in the past have you had good luck with them not rotting out?

thanks
joe

Update on the exhaust:
After a 1.5 wks of driving, im really liking this exhaust. I think it sounds best at low speeds on takeoff, it has that nice rumble then it gets real quiet, which i like. The highway drone isnt as bad as i first thought, listening to the radio drowns most of it out, and besides its hard to have it sound good without some interior noise. At WOT, this exhaust def gets your attention.
On a positive note, i had the guys straighten out the pipes so they are more level, or as level as they could get them, but i like the adjustment, will take another pic to show you guys.

def give this exhaust the thumbs up for 5.0 guys that want that happy medium between stock and obnoxiously too loud exhaust.
