My new Golden Bronze EB Platinum

Here's my new truck. I know it didn't happen unless there's pics. I haven't seen a golden bronze platinum in any of the forums so here ya go. Fully loaded minus side steps & rubber mats.

Have you opened the door yet? If so, you should see the side steps slide out from under the truck...

I have the same truck in White Platinum Tricoat. Did you have to order yours? There wasn't a single 6.5' bed Platinum with the EB and tow package avaialable in the country when I was looking (I also didn't want Ford's nav unit). My dealer searched something like 9,000 dealerships, so he says.

Only if he has it turned on. When I picked mine up it was turned off. The salesman set it up before I left the lot.

I thought about that, but figured they would be turned on by default...

For me, the retractable side steps were one of the bigger factors that led me to the Platinum over the Lariat.

I think he probably meant the truck bed side steps that you can get with the 6.5' bed...

I think he is talking about it not having the little bed steps, not the running boards.

Golden bronze sounds like FOMOCO's new slang for brown.

Man that looks sharp. There are NO 6.5' beds in the southeast. I see so many on here and am highly jealous! :-)

You may be right - I forgot about those. They're neat and all, but they're a bit clunky under there and I wasn't interested...
