I agree on the stock wheels. I also agree on the airflow to the intercooler being blocked by the bull bar's skid plate. Not worth the risk.

If you look at the picture of his old truck you see that the skid plate is vented. should be plenty of air flow for the intercooler.

There's been a couple of other members that have had them and started to get crappy milage....they removed them and milage went back up.....that's how much air the eb intercooler needs...

It is not vented near enough. The center bar runs right through the center of the opening and blocks a large portion of it. This bar will create a considerable amount of eddy currents coming off of the top and divert the air up towards the grille not the opening for the intercooler. The eddy currents are traveling much slower and with much more turbulence. They will not be near as efficient at cooling as straight line airflow would.

The lower portion blocks nearly all of the air and will create a high pressure bubble that will push the air towards the bottom of the truck. The few small openings are a very small percentage of the total area the stock intercooler set up has.

If you like the look that's your bushiness but keep in mind you are hampering a very important part of a forced induction engine.

There's no grille in front of the intercooler for a reason. Intentionally adding a blockage in front of it is illogical.

that's a tiny opening as it is for air, i wouldn't stick a bull bar up there, restricts a lot of the little amount of air flow already there. i wonder what the options will be for ranch hands for the EB will be.

a mod i would look into is an EGR gauge before cosmetics.

Why an EGT gauge on a stock set-up? The truck will defuel itself when approaching dangerous temps. The internals are forged so it will handle any situation in stock form. Now, if a tuner is slapped on there it's a different story.

I agree not necessary on a stock EB. I was just correcting him because he said "EGR" gauge.
