My transmission went crazy yesterday. I had a mechanic friend read the codes and it is showing P0705 which is the transmission range sensor. It put itself in "limp home" mode and I was able to get it to the dealer where it's sitting now waiting for them to check it out. It's a 2009, auto, 5.4l, supercrew with only 26,000 miles. The service advisor at the dealer was quick to point out my 6" lift and 35" tires "to just throw it out there" that might be what made my transmission have issues. He said he wouldn't push it and it should still be covered under my warranty but we'll see what they say today. Has anyone else had a problem with this code/sensor?
