Alright, I bought the "Gold system" from TASCA parts. Call up my Ford dealer, guy on phone says he won't install it unless I bought it from him. Called up a local place and they said the same thing. He told me to try Best Buy...really?

Just wondering if anyone knew of a place that would do that here. I'm closer to Baton Rouge and Best Buy is my last option unless someone here has used them before.

try craigslist, either someone may have an ad offering rmst/alarm install services, or you can post a want ad. That's how I found my installer and turns out he used to install them at Ford dealers.

And most Ford dealers don't actually have a full-time installer, rather they call someone in to install it. If somehow you can figure out who that person is, maybe he would be willing to install it "on the side" (cash deal) for you?

Try Kirks over on airline they might be able to help you out. Also there is a place off of Siegan lane not sure of the name but I think it's mikes car stereo. If you drive over to Lafayette give audio video innovators a shout they are always willing to help.
