Power Window Switches
Power Window Switches
I have a 09 F150. I recently drove a 11 F150 and enjoyed the feature of auto up & down for both the drivers and passenger window. Don't really want to spend $44K right now just for that option. Do you think it is possible to just order the switches for an 11 and install them in a 09. I tried searching the fordparts website but could not find anything. Anyone tried this yet?
If this link works it should take you to the switch for the passenger door of a 2011.

From what I could tell you can't get a single switch from the drivers door, that is a set of 5 that must include the window lock.
The RH switch is a single and from what the OP said the 2011 has one touch down on the RH side. That is the one I posted the link too.

The one touch button for the passenger window is in the driver's side window switch panel. The switch in the passenger door does not have the one touch feature.

It was new for 2011 to have both windows one up/down. 2010's and before only have the feature on one window.
Well that just bites the big one! Guess I will just have to get a 2012 when they come out to get this feature!
Thanks for all of the replies.

My 2009 Focus has the Auto feature on the driver's window, but it's only for the DOWN direction -- the up direction you have to keep pulling on the switch to make the window go all the way up. This is OK though.
On my 2011 F-150 EB, I noticed that the Auto feature is on BOTH the down and up directions (and as has been mentioned, it's on both the driver and passenger windows). I'm finding that that's a BIG PAIN though.
Why? Well, a lot of times I want to leave the windows open 2-3 inches during the summer to keep the interior from heating up like a kiln. Having the Auto feature on the UP direction makes it damn near impossible to get the window open that 2-3 inches -- because it wants to go all the way down and then all the way back up. Yes, I've tried hitting the UP direction to stop it while on the way down, and vice-versa...but that often just makes the window go down all the way and then STAY DOWN even if I pull up on the switch to make the window go back up.
I love the truck in general, but this particular "feature" gets the big razzie from me so far!

The switch has two position. halfway operates as a normal switch. Past that makes the auto-feature work.
This is one of the many reasons I traded in my 2010. I traded in an Audi S8 on my 2010 and it had this feature on all 4 windows. I couldn't believe it wasn't standard on a $50k vehicle.
