I have owned my 2011 Ford FX4 Supercab since April 3, 2011 - I have the 5.0 4x4 with 3.73s ELD.

This truck exceeded my expectations - all around. Everything from the interior - exterior to all the options, but you want to talk motors. It has great pickup, especially on the highway when you need to pass the power is instant and is there, as stated above - its a sleeper. The motor makes no noise, I mean you can't tell if its running half the time when it idles or when cruising between 65-80MPH. When you do get on it, it has a nice, deep suprising rumble, suprising just because its so quiet when cruising you don't expect to hear that growl. The interior cabin of the truck is as quiet as can be...its a little too quiet for my liking lol.

The transmission shifts smooth, I have no problems and currently just hit 3,103 miles yesterday. It's smooth, responsive and just as expected.

I have the 36 gal. tank, and I average anywhere from 17-19 mixed driving. Before the soft tonneau cover, I got around 16/17 in town and about 18/19 on the highway. Now, with the soft cover I get anywhere from 16-18 MPG strictly around town and 20-21 highway (fluctuating speeds between 65-75) with normal driving habbits, I have gotten less doing 75-80MPH and I have gotten more doing 55-65. The improvement was noticable on the highway with the cover, not so much around town.

I tow a single axle trailer waverunner, with mostly highway, some back roads with some steep inclines, with the A/C on I got around 17-18 MPG this past weekend.

Over all, I love this truck. Can't complain about the gas mileage. I am by no means heavy on the pedal (Thats what I have my Mustang for but It def. is a great truck. These numbers are HAND calculations - not going by that computer. The sound, the power, and the comfort - I am happy I made this choice. I also did my research, and test drove a bunch of trucks before making my decision - I had no doubt I'd end up in a Ford.
