I suspect even my truck is faster than my Mustang, though the Mustang is a 4 speed with a 289, Crane Fireball cam, Holley 600 double pumper and 3.50 gears.

Nice truck! I have the silver as well. The woodgrain has really grown on me. I to have the ecoboost. I have to say I was skeptical at first, but it is really growing on me everytime I drive it.

My truck is 4x4 with the 3.73 locker

I am also trading out of my 2009 Lariat SC. I was in for service with my wifes edge and drove the new Ecoboost. I amazed. In order for me to really make the jump, I had to get a loaded truck. After searching all of New England, I was forced to order one. i ordered a 2011 Larait Super Crew with alloy 20's, Eco Boost, and all the other options.
What I have run into is that my dealer is claiming that Ford is short on Sony nav systems, and they cant guarrantee Ford will build it with Nav. They know I wont take the truck without it. I am wondering if anyone has every heard of Ford shipping a customer ordered truck without an option ordered? That doesnt quite make sense to me.

I read in a earlier post that Ford's is NOT taking anymore Lariat orders. The fullfillment for 2011 is set. You'd have to order a 2012. The NAV is a no-go also and they won't take the order.

found this quote
"I just ordered a Lariat Crew 4x4 and I was informed that Navigation is sold right out for the year and as well 20" chrome clad rims are sold out for the year and are not available I waited 3 weeks to find that out!! Now I wait longer for my truck that is going to be 2000 less to buy at least, custom rims here I come!! As well if you order a platinum it will not come with Nav in it but just the Sony stereo with the subwoofer and a 1980 (Canadian) credit. "

"Supposedly the chip maker in Japan will be back and running around Sept or Oct. This is why the delay of Navigation"

The Nav parts/components are in short supply, so they say. I wouldn't count on the order going through.......but never say never......

Best of luck!

Ok, so here is the final word-Only way to get a Nav model from the factory is to order a Harley Davidson Edition truck. That is something that I am definatley not inerested in. My dealer is checking on a few more. I guess I will have to wait and see.

I wonder what the word will be on 2012's??
