Current incentives on new truck

Does anyone expect them to get better for 2011's? Current incentives expire on July 7th and allow for $3,500 "cash back". Based on past experiences, does anyone see them slightly improving as the 11's are being moved off the lost for the 2012's?

I'd really like to buy now, but, think I can get better if I wait it out another month.

My guess would be an additional $500 on top of current incentives. The 12's will be built in Sept and they may want to create a fire sale on 11's?????

On one hand if people quit buying so many F150's...the rebates/incentives would be better.

You are going to have to just wait till July 8th and see what they roll out. Historically...if there are lots of 2011 F150's crowding the dealerships you can bet the rebates/incentives will get better...especially the closer you get to the roll out of the 2012's.

Good luck...I'd be patient.

I hear that the 2012 F-150 is going to be another late intro - if so, don't count on the 2011 rebates getting any better.

What's the excuse this year other than them not moving inventory? I would venture to guess the current gas prices are causing people to re-think their purchases of trucks.

I want to up my ante. Since Ford isn't offering NAV, 20's , screws additional time out, no bedliners, etc.. They better match Dodge's incentives of $6k or more. They will lose out otherwise.

If Dodge is already offering 6K in incentives already...there is a reason for it and that is because it's a...Dodge.

A new Dodge truck, a couple of years ago, ran into my son's Ford Focus sedan while he was stopped. The entire front of the Dodge was just about lying in the road...not convinced they are that well built at all. My son's Focus had the back bumper pushed in a little and the trunk lid was bent in.

I'm thinkin that it might depend on which engine your looking for.

Ecoboost equipped vehicles may get less rebates in the future if the sales trends continue as they are now.
