2011 Fx4 Soft rear suspension?

I've had my 2011 FX4 Super Crew for about 6 months now, and have always noticed the rear suspension seemed softer than my 09 FX4. Both have 20" wheels, however I did find out that in 2011 they eliminated the 4th leaf spring. They say it does the same work with the 3 they have as the 4 springs did in the 09 & 10 MY's.

Anyway. I just purcahsed a new boat yesterday with about a 350-400 lbs. toungue weight, and it really made the rear sag. I would say it now sits level or just below level with the boat loaded. I wasn't expecting this much of a sag, so I guess my question is, does this sound normal for this much weight? Or does it seem my rear suspension might not be holding up like it should?

Just looking for opinions before I go ask my service tech a stupid question!

Thanks.

Setting level or close to it with 400lbs of tongue weight seems pretty good to me.

Did you have the max tow package on your 09? My understanding was that the max tow package added an extra leaf.

That's right on the 09-10s. I don't know about the 2011s. Did you have the max tow on your 09?
