I was talking about the 2010 model. I think the STX and fx4 look identical in the front end.

There is a little chrome on the wheels. Also I have chrome running boards and chrome around all the lights. Thanks for your input though.

I wish it was on my XLT with Chrome Package. Probably would look great but I've been afraid to consider an upgrade because breaking the tabs haunts me.

The tabs are pointless. I broke 3 tabs on my old one and it still holds great. Who cares if you break the tabs of you are putting on a new one anyways.

J/K it's your truck, do what you want to it.
Why would you want chrome on a FX4?

The fx4 looks just like the other f150s below and above it's class. It just has a couple more bells and whistles. Also my original grille had some issues so I wanted to try something different. I have seen plenty off road vehicles with chrome in my time

^^^I Agree^^^ Although chrome and FX4 are not meant to be together.

Either way as long as you like it is ok.

I like it.

I also like Chrome bumpers and tow hooks.

Nice truck!! I like the chrome tow hooks. Have you had any problems with those rusting? A chrome bumper is a good idea since my wife backed into my truck yesterday pulling out of the garage Put a nice tennis ball size dent in the lower bumper. I was able to pound most of it out. It is only noticeable now when the light hits it just perfect. I looked at a new bumper on the Ford website and those damn things are almost $500, without paint.

At least the Lariat grill looks better than an XLT grille. My plan was to get an XLT w/o chrome package and swap an FX4 grille into it...
