36 Gallon and 26 Gallon tank the same?

I think if you put a regular 36 gallon tank on a EB truck it will screw it up because the fuel pressure and fuel pump (which is inside the tank) is different for EcoBoost. The answer will come in 2012 I assume.

The whole assy comes out the top of the tank. You just swap one for one.

ecoboost's high pressure pump is on the valve cover. low pressure pump in the tank so it still may work to put the bigger tank on an ecoboost
According to the post, the assemblies are identical in location on the tank. Should be real easy to just swap out all hardware from tank to tank.

To bad you didn't read the post:

If someone could look at both sizes and compare and let me know what I am not seeing... Thanks.
He wanted to know if the tanks are the same. They are. The only question remaining is if the pumps and filter are the same.

And a bit of research at Rockauto shows the 5.0 and 3.5 have the same sending unit and pump.
