Ground location for Aux switches

Hey guys,

Where should I be hooking up my ground wires for Aux switches? Going to place my switched on or near the center console, but just want to have a sufficient grounding location.

I have run power for aux reverse lights right off my battery (to switch on at any time) with an inline fuse directly to the switch. Grounding that power feed off the switch, and powering the mini fogs lights at the rear, and grounding them at the back of the truck.

Also, would I be able to ground the lights at the back off of the 7 pin trailer plug? Is it alright to splice into the ground wire off of it, or should I find a better independent ground source?
