grill guard, bull bar, or prerunner

I am looking for a grill guard of some sort for a 2011 f150. I don't need a super heavy duty one nor do I want a light duty one. I would like to keep it in the 550 or below range. Also I don't want one that sticks out a lot, it will be going on a super crew 6.5 box and some parkin lots at already tight as it is. Pics, price, and place please. Thanks!

i was deciding a while back between a grill guard and prerunner too. i went with the grill guard and bought a Trail FX guard that is not to heavy duty. you can mount 2 lights on it but i drilled 2 more hole so now i have 4 that makes it look a ton better. it was about $450 not as much as other brands and i also have a SC with a 6.5 bed. another thing is that it folds out away from the truck so you can open the hood.

never mind, i found out that you can't keep the tow hooks, so if i get it i will have to fabricate a way to keep them. and yes 4 lights do look better in there but i was thinkin of fabricating a mount for some expanded metal in the middle. i have found a site where they sell the black ones for just over $300. how well built does it seem to be? i know its not a super heavy duty guard but how heavy is it and all?

i was looking for a GRILL GUARD only like the Police Cars use to push someone... Then I found out you have to get one that will tilt foward on a hinge of some sort so that you can reach under your grill to release the hood latch and raise the hood. I give up after hearing that... I didnt know about loosing the tow hooks too...

I think that ranch hand push bard are already out enough for the grill. I'm not getting a ranch hand because they tend to be more heavy duty than I need and the fact they stick out because I have a long truck already.

that was actually the first brand i looked at. i really wanted one but then when i saw the installed price from the local dealer i wasn't as hot on it, then i thought that i wouldn't really need it that much at all so i really didn't need one that heavy. one of the reasons i wanted one in the first place was for the looks and i love the way the ranch hands look but they just stick out a little to far for some of the parkin lots where i live, lets just say some are made for trucks but they are a little outside of town and others aren't and with a 150 or so inch wheelbase truck, its already a little tight. thanks for the input though, love that last pic with the shotgun.

I don't think that would provide much protection beyond going through tall grass.
