speed-o-meter Lens

Guys what is the best way to clean the instrument cluster not to scratch the lens. I have some light scratchs on the customer display or the center display what ever you call the display for the radio and temp, sync, ect.. Is there a way to polish the scratchs out. I tryed to buy the clear lens in front of that display and you cannot buy it without buying the display module which is $757.00 that is a shame..

Well I guess know one has tryed to clean the speed-o cluster? 5point4 lol.
Well I tell you that I found a way to clean them without one scratch on the lens. What you do is put 1-2 paper towels at the bottom of the speed-o and spray 1 or 2 shot of water in a spray bottle at the lens and don't wipe it let it run down to the towels, that get the dirt particles off the lens. Next spray 2 shots of LCD lens cleaner and used a micro cloth and lightly wipe it toward the bottom and it will look great. I hope this helps...

Mequires makes some good products for clear plastics-you might have to order it ,not the stuff you can usually by over the counter. If memory serves me correctly it is numbered #10 AND#17.It works good, it has a chemical reaction with clear plastics fattens up the structure makes the scratches less noticeable.
