Ecoboost emblem removal

I'm guessing its like removing any other emblem, which I also have never done. Nervous about messing up the paint so looking for the proper procedure. I just don't like the looks of it, it takes some toughness away after installing lift and wheels/tires, so its gotta go. Assuming its just held on with double-sticky. Advice please!

I used a piece of fishing line and sort of sawed through the adhesive tape. While cleaning off the rest of the adhesive with goo gone, I left a few small scratches from rubbing too hard.Luckily they buffed out.

I just pulled/pried it off.

Slowly.

No heat needed.

fishing line between the emblem and adheasive. all of my adheasive came off easily for my flex fuel badge, then just washed the area around the emblem and no trace.

I have heard a blow drier helps make it easier. I got my flexfuel thing removed off of my 5.4 at the dealer tho... he scratched it but then repainted the tailgate to make up for it. Very good dealer. Bayer Ford in Comanchee Texas

Take your time - either pull or use the fishing line method. Piece of cake. I also remove the damn dealer stickers too.

As above - use some fishing line and gently work it behind the badge pulling away from the truck as you work through the two sided tape. I usually use WD40 and a paper towel to remove adhesive left behind on the paint. Not hard on the hands, nose, or paint and does the job really well. I just pulled off a 4+ year old dealer sticker using this method and it was all good
