Towing Fuel Economy
I get 11 on the nose towing this:

With race car and gear, the trailer is around 6000lbs. 5th gear for hills on the interstate doing 65mph, otherwise it lopes along in 6th with the 3.55LS.

You bought a Ford. Whether its towing or not it wont be that much difference unless you're really loaded down but even then it shouldnt be as bad as some say. It might make you feel a little better to know I had a 2005 Screw with a 3 inch lift and 35's with a 5.4 and 3.73s with 5 grown men in the cab a loaded down tool box with a 4wheeler in the back and 4 more on a 16' trailer with coolers and gear wherever we could put it while I drove 70mph everywhere and still got 12-13mpg. I didnt get but 14-15mpg normally.
