Can truck fit in parking garage with 4" lift

Will our trucks with a rancho or rough country 4" lift fit in most all parking garages? What are y'all height wise at top with 35s /33s?

Thanks

Depends on the garage height, but if its the average yes. I can fit mine in a 7ft, but just barely. And I can tell you its nerve racking.

Here you go, you got to watch out for those cross beams! I think I slowed down for each one. As you can tell from the picture, length was another issue for me. I parked in that corner spot in the back of the picture and my back end completely blocked in that taurus, had to repark here.

normal garages yes, if you ever plan on downtown garages then no. barely could squeeze a 2wd leveled 08 f150 downtown.

Yea I can always fit on the first level with a 6inch lift and 35s but I never go up on the upper levels ha, I learned my lesson when me and my dad went up the levels in a crowded parking garage with his stock f350 on 33s and what we didnt notice is that with every level that we went up the roof got lower and lower, then soon we found our selves trying to do an Austin Powers turn around while 8 cars were piled up behind us haha

Either way it should have a height bar at the entrance to verify you fit in the upper levels. One way to gauge it is with your antenna, it sticks a couple inches in higher then your roof and you can watch it as you go up, if it clears your good.

ALL;

One thing to watch for are the occasional "lower than the others" light fixture.

DAMHIKT!!

I hit one with the topper on my '04. The rest of the lights and the truck cleared fine, one dang fixture was lower than the rest. It took me 4 months of wrangling to get it paid for, but I eventually got a new topper from the garage owner/operator. Like squeezing blood out of a turnip, getting $$$ from a parking garage owner!!!!

just another note - watch for floor repairs - sometimes they are not the same thickness as the rest of the ramp - especially on the expansion joints
