Question for 5.0 owners

How quiet is your 5.0 engine? Does it tick like the 5.4L and 4.6L 3v engines in the 09-10's? I've got a 2010 and will probably upgrade by fall, just lookin for some input here.

Most likely the injectors, and all engines do it. I had it on my Nissan 5.6L, 4.0L, and 3.3L engines as well. Before that, Camaro broke down so much, can't remember as it didn't run much.

mine has that tick, only hear it if your standing outside near the truck. Agree with all, that once you get on it, it does have a nice growl, to bad it dosen't come with dual pipes, I wouldn't consider putting an exhaust then. Theres not enough room i believe to put a y pipe and run dual.

Cool, thanks for all the replies. Almost traded the truck in on a 2011 5.0 Mustang GT Premium but just couldnt pull the trigger. I think I would miss the truck too much.
