I just got my FX4 and noticed that there are 6 holes in a horizontal line in each side of the bed, two towards the front, two above the wheel well and two near the tailgate. They don't appear to have threads in them.

Does anyone know what they're for?

Is your truck new or pre-owned? If pre-owned they could have been for a camper attachment.

 

Any pics by chance? Where are they relative to the body line, or bed rail cap?

 

It's brand new.

 

Most likely for the Cargo Management System

 

I put a picture in my Garage.

 

My '11 STX SCab has the same holes. Most likely for the above mentioned cargo mgmt. system.
