11, 970 miles: last week while driving to work truck had loss of power, truck started vibrating and check engine light came on. Took it to dealer, they changed coil pack and told me recently released TSB had advised of this problem.
12, 210 miles: Today truck won't start, I checked the battery and it was good. Called Ford and they had truck towed to same dealer, called later to say they found internal short in PCM. No PCMs in local area and only 7 available in the US at this time. They don't know if they can get one by Friday.
This same dealer recently installed the Ford remote start/security system for me when the truck had 10,900 miles.
Wondering if this is bad luck or a problem with the remote start installation.

 

It DOES sound suspicious, but hard to prove.

Since everything should be covered by warranty, I hope they gave you a loaner for your trouble.
