Not sure if this has been posted here yet, or if anyone has seen this, but I think it's a great idea. PUT is offering to perform an apples to apples towing/MPG test between the 5.0 & EB engines (and possibly a 6.2) for identically configured trucks (SCREW, 4x4, 3.73, 5.5 bed). This has been one of the missing elements in all prevous tests....nothing has been apples to apples. They will pay for room and board for a customer to offer their truck for the test (one of each). We already know that all three engines are great engines. The point with the test is to get a better feel for how each perform under as close to identical situations as possible.
