I posted a thread earlier but want to introduce myself.

My younger brother recently traded me his 2009 Blue Flame FX4 Super Crew.

Totally in love with the truck.

I am going to do some upgrades, programmer and other stuff to get the 5.4 respectable to the 6.2, and yes its going to be a challenge but I've got 10 years 4.6/5.4 experience in Mustang with swaps ect. Just haven't modified a motor in 2-3 years. Some have suggested some reputable tuners here.

The next part I know very little about.

I want to lift/level the truck about 1.5".

Suggestions?

Then of course Harley head/tail lights.


The last thing is, what of others done to the grill other than billet? Anyone know of a Blue Flame with grill painted to match?

 

leveling kit: autospring off ebay. ~$70 most members run them.

grille, 2011 fx4 grille looks good IMO.

harley heads/tails check out tasca ford, most seem to order from there have good prices.

those flares look like bushwackers. go to their website, don't know where to get them not a big fan of em.

tuners: VMP or troyer performance. you are going to need alot more than that though like you said, check out LT headers (dunno if they make em for the 09+ or not) underdrive pullies, intake, exhaust, swap gears (dependent on tire size) or just supercharge it and that should get you there pretty quickly

 

I am currently looking for the same lift kit I saw on your truck. I am writing because I'm looking for headers. Can't find a lot of literature about it. Money is not the issue. I want performance headers then I'll add exhaust pipes later. Any ideas
