Best Aftermarket Floormats???

I just found a 1" long cut in the bottom of my FX-4 factory driver's floormat. It's bad enough that it's letting water and dirt through it and into the carpet....so I'm in the market for aftermarket floormats. I've looked at weathertech, rugged ridge, nifty, and husky liners.

I want the style that holds the water instead of shedding it to the door sill. I've seen some in the past that were plastic -- they were noisy, slippery, and didn't fit well.

I'm leaning towards the rugged ridge. In online pics, they appear to fit well. A rear mat is available, but I haven't found a pic yet.

Anyone have the rugged ridge? How about others? Any recommendations? Any brands I've missed?

I have Weathertechs in both of my vehicles and swear by them. I wouldn't own anything else.

Weathertech is good, but Nifty makes a carpeted one that is pretty nice.

The Husky's are more like a plastic tray. If you wear muddy work boot's they are great. They catch and hold mud and water. 4th truck I've had them in.

I had the original Husky Liners (trays) in my 2006 and loved them...I do a lot of fishing and was constantly getting back into the truck with wet/muddy boots. They were great for that.

My current truck has the Husky Weatherbeater, which is basically Husky Liners' answer to the Weathertech. I don't know that they are any better, but they fit good, are easy to clean, and I have no complaints with them. They were a little cheaper than Weathertech.

The problem with the WT is they are thin and lightweight and where not on flat floor tend to curl and leave gaps over time.

I believe Aries are thicker/heavier and less prone to do that. Yet offer the same or better coverage (in the front). Less so out back.

How well do the Weathertech DigitalFit liners fit? I like the total protection of the floor liners, but I'm worried about them moving around too much. I like that rubber floor mats are flexible and heavy, but they don't protect the carpet as well. Are the Weathertech DigitalFits plastic or rubber ... or something in between?

Weathertech obviously has very devoted fans. I'm going to see if I can check them out locally before buying.

Thanks for sharing your opinions and pics.

You nailed it. WT DF fit great, but are not the thicker rubber. The huskys are heavier but don't cover as much carpet.

I need to see a set of aries as they seem to compromise the two.

I've had a set of WT in my 04 for 7+ years now and while they cover everything, the gaps on the side of the mid console are getting bigger. I'm looking for a better option.
