Once you get some miles on the truck, please post your unloaded and loaded MPGs. Im tossing around the 3.73s or the 4.10s and I will be running 33s, towing occasionally... How does it do in the city and how does it do on the highway?

I have right around 2k miles on the truck now, mileage isn't what I had hoped while towing...but the power is better than I expected.

The trailer is a 24x8.5, loaded up probably a little better than 6000lbs.

And that is what I was seeing for mileage while towing, averaging right around 65mph on mostly flat roads...on the return trip, it was slightly better (just over 8mpg). My tires definitely aren't helping me, I bet I could pick up another 1-2mpg by going back to stock or something not as aggressive with less weight. But the biggest issue is the trailer, that thing is like pulling a brick through the wind. I did a little "drafting" by following fairly close to a semi tractor/trailer and saw the mileage climb up into the 12's while doing 65mph with close to 7000lbs in the trailer.

Like I said, I only have around 2,000 miles on the truck as of right now, and a good 1400 of those miles were towing the trailer...only maybe 200 unloaded miles with the 33"s on the truck, if that. So I can't give you a very good unloaded mileage estimate...especially considering the few times I have driven the truck with no trailer, my foot was pretty hard on the accelerator . But as an guesstimate, through the city...I would say around 13 mpg, and 15-16 on the highway doing 75ish. Nowhere near the 22mpg advertised, but the heavy 33's and 4.10 gears have a lot to do with that. I could probably get those numbers up a bit by being a little easier on the go-pedal, but I like to have fun with my vehicle and would rather spend a few extra $$ on gas than drive like I'm afraid of the accelerator.

Sorry, probably not the exact answer you were looking for...but it is honest, better than all of the artificially inflated 25+mpg posts you read about on the forums . Some guys must drive with the wind and down hill a LOT! Haha

I now have 3800 on my FX4 Screw 3.73, my average is a solid 18 mpg, 60% highway 40% City. Loaded with a 15ft utility trailer with a couple quads, knocks it down to 12.5 going largely uphill to my cabin @ 75 mph.

Overall I am happy as a pig in shiite with it, wonderful truck ,easily the best I've owned, and I've owned a bevy in my time. Would not waste your time with 4.10's unless you need it to tow or pull 35's, 3.73's run like a raped ape with 33's. But if you are towing a lot (10k loads) consistently you need a diesel
