I had the same problem happen on my previous '09 FX4. It ended up being a relay that was replaced under warranty.

Hope this helps!

more times than not. resistor pack.
i just had mine replaced, this morning. its been 85plus and now getting into the 100's . and high all the time is fine until i try to talk on phone.
paid 132 for part and labor. i beleive part is 68.00?

i know i could have replaced myself. and would except if that was not it. then i would have been stuck with an un-useable part.

works great now.
