If this question has already been asked before/debated, I apologize. I did a quick search and looked through the first few pages, and I didn't see any obvious threads with this topic, although I may not have looked far enough.

Are there any opinions out there about the Recon replacement projector headlight assemblies? They aren't cheap, but I like the look/potential functionality (brightness) of a HID projector. Sounds like you can either mod the existing housing with projectors (several people have done this with the '11 SDs), or purchase a replacement housing (i.e. Recon) with them already installed. I'm also not sure if there are other brands to consider other than Recon.

If there is alreayd a thread on this and someone can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it. This is on my long list of eventual mods....

 

I have them build quality is so so the passenger side is a bit short. The light that comes with it are cheap and I upgraded then. After all of this I could of done a retro kit for a little more.

I wouldn't do it again that is for sure.
