Best place to ship grill from???

I have a larait grill for sale and took it in to a local shipping place (similar to Mail boxes etc) to see what it would be to pack and ship and was qouted $100 to ship from Dallas area to Seatlle area. Does that sound about right?

Where else should I check for a better price?

Sounds really high, should be around $25-35 if you use the smallest box possible, pack yourself and take directly to UPS.

take your dimensions and weight and check on fedex.com usps.com and ups.com. their sites give you the option to check for shipping rates, depending on the weight and size of your package.

You stated them pack? That will probably at least double the price. Pack it your self and save a lot of money. Get some bubble wrap from Home Depot or Lowes and then wrap some cardboard around it.
